Cory's science experiment

So this is a super cool experiment that Cory did with his 8th graders (this is a big one in front of all of them)--anyway it's called elephant toothpaste. You may have to wait minute as they are mixing the chemicals to get the reaction at first. It turned out pretty neat.

February 10th

I came into the living room and Madi and taken Quinton and told him she would read this book with him--so dang cute!! He loved it.

We haven't been able to play out in the snow too much this year--because it's been freezing or just wet snow...but I was able to get this on Cory's iPad--Quinton just likes to eat the snow--Madi followed suit after watching him a few times! After a while they didn't like it so much because their hands got cold.

Winter Update

 Madi's Thanksgiving Program
The video above of the program is about what Madi did most of the program--its very surprising because she loves to sing! There is a young man next to her that is very entertaining though!
Quinton, Riley, Madi, Aspen and Skylar the day after Thanksgiving (in Montana)--Musgrave Cousins
Quinton on the Ride home from Montana
Madi on the way home from Montana
Madi and Quinton at the end of the ride home from Montana--Quinton is ready to be done--he even figured out how to get his arms out of his straps!
Madi and Quinton's play place--the tub
Above is Madi singing while they play in the tub--she is awesome at making up songs!
Quinton parked himself in my clean laundry basket (as I cooked dinner) to read a book.
Madi was around the corner reading as well.
Quinton decided to move by Madi and read his book by her.
Madi's 4th Birthday
Her great blowing techniques
My Dad's birthday is just 5 days before Madi's--so we always celebrate them together...he probably could have added a candle or two for his age.
Madi's face the whole time--she was so excited about everything she got--even the clothes.

I put this picture on here because (if you can't tell) Quinton has the package of candles and is eating them--even to this day (he will be 2 in about 2 months) he still puts just about everything in his mouth that he shouldn't.
Let's just say Quinton liked the frosting part the best.

Madi's Christmas program at Creekside (home for elderly).

I was holding Quinton, so at first its a little shaky--but not for too long...Madi sang way better this time! (She loves Christmas songs like her momma).

Our traditional trip to the South Hills

It was freezing cold--so it was a quick trip this year.
It is sad because next year the family that does this awesome display of lights is calling it quits. The small town near by is going to take it on next year, but I'm nervous that it won't be nearly the same.

Madi and Quinton after opening their stockings--as you can see what they were interested in the most was the books they received. Should have forgot the rest!

Madi's new laptop to help her with her letters and numbers. Cory wanted to show his excitement as well!
Quinton was a big help at Christmas--he loved returning all the wrapping paper that needed thrown away to Grandpa (my dad).
Swimming at the hotel with the Musgrave cousins and Grandma Tana and Wagner.
Madi gave her best cheese grin when I asked her to smile for me.
This is how I found my kids--Madi talking to Quinton as he sits on her lap and play with the toy piano.
Cory made a fort for the kids with the tunnel and the tents they got for Christmas. They were both playing (in the dark with flashlights) in the one tent--they had filled both tents and tunnels with tons of their toys. If you notice Quinton has lost his pants--this happen frequently--skinny kid takes after his daddy!
I needed an update photo of the kids--these were the best I could get.
Madi has a hard time not giving me a cheese grin when I ask her to smile.
If you look close enough there is a sharp shinned hawk in the middle of this picture. Madi and I were sitting on the ground below the sink (by the heater) eating breakfast--yes I keep my house cool at night because I'm cheap. Anyway I kept seeing this flash of light come out the window above the sink--usually its just squirrels playing out there--but I looked and it was this hawk--it had gotten some "food" and needed a place to hide and eat--it was there for about an hour and a half---It was awesome--Cory was jealous (as he loves birds)...he was at work.

This is how I found Quinton today during his nap--head against the bar and arm hanging down the side--he was definitely tired.
Madi and Quinton were giggling so hard--just having fun in the bath--I wanted to make sure I got it on video. (Such a pleasant sound)
I was trying to get a Valentine's video (from the kids) for my brother Cody (he is on a mission in New York)...you can decide how succesful it was.
This is kind of dark and side ways, but I was on the phone with my sister (trying to fix dinner as well) and I looked up and Madi is singing (one of her awesome made up songs) and Quinton is in her pink hat dancing! It was awesome!
