Early Friday Morning...

At about 1:30 am Friday morning I heard some really loud screeching wheels close to our house. Then I heard some police sirens right after. I asked Cory if he had heard it too--of course not he sleeps way better than I do! Anyway, the next morning Cory headed to work (we live on a dead end street with only 3 houses on it--at the end of the dead end there is a fence that is next to the middle school). Cory hops the fence every morning to go to work. Well Friday morning he calls me and tells me it's no longer there! (he thought I was crazy when I told him what I heard in the middle of the night--) Yes there was a high speed chase right next to our house.

Above is where the road met the fence.
This is picture of the fence ripped off the poles and the tracks of the vehicle that went through it.
That is our neighbor's house and part of there fence that is now gone.
This is the pipe/pole that goes along the top of the fence.

Cory asked his principal about it and she hadn't been told anything about it. Today is Sunday and it looks just the same as it did on Friday. We thought we lived on a quiet street!

Christmas Time and The New Year

Madi's Birthday is Dec. 20th and this is what she got in the mail from her Grandma Montana--she loves this little baby nursery. I don't have other pictures of her Birthday because I forgot my camera when we celebrated--I will have to steal my mom's camera to get those pictures.
Madi sat  next to Quinton and goes "Mom, take a picture."
Our kids rarely let us sleep in--they love to play in our bed in the morning--Madi's hair is the best!
Madi opening her stocking.
Quinton eating his stocking!
Madi and one of her new pictures of the temple to put in her room.
After Christmas at our house we went to my parents and  Madi was so excited about this purple coat they gave her (she loves pink and purple).
Madi's new book Courderoy
Quinton and some of his gifts from Grandpa Elmer and Grandma Kathy
Madi got this nice bear and cute blanket that Grandma Kathy made her.
Notice Quinton is prefers to chew on the cardboard instead of the toy.
(Great)Grandma Hammerquist and (Great) Aunt Dyanne came down the day after Christmas (I forgot my camera when we opened some presents with them)--it was nice to get to see them for a little bit.
Madi (on our trip to Dillon Montana)--she got this present from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Elmer--it reads each page of the books to her--it kept her busy the whole trip!
Madi and (Great) Grandpa Orr are ready to eat breakfast!
Above is Dec 29, 2011 and below is Dec 23, 2009--if you look close you can see that Quinton has my green phone in the picture above and Madi has my pink phone in the picture below

I was fixing breakfast and (Grandpa Orr) Jim came and took Quinton out off my hands--it was so cute to see him talk to Quinton and hold him (while he squirmed everywhere).
Quinton always takes his socks off and chews on them (especially in his car seat and crib). Well he did this today and I was able to grab the camera fast enough to take a picture of it. He must get it from Cory or something.
Quinton is always crawling (army crawling) everywhere and today he decided he was going to crawl over and through things--like this hippo toy! But he got stuck--as you can tell by his face his started to get a little mad that he couldn't make it through.
