The Rest of October 2013

This is the best action shot I got of Madi playing soccer this fall. Now that soccer is over she misses it. Even though it seemed a little pointless because she didn't really do much--I'm glad we put her in it because I think it will help her with all sports. We will definitely do it again next year--hopefully she'll go after the ball more :)

Grandma Montana and Robbin came to visit so we had to take a swim in the pool at the hotel (and when I say we I mean Cory and the kids :) (and Grandma and Robbin too)

Quinton almost drowned while in this thing...he wanted to take his hands out of it and Cory told him not to...or else he would go under water...so what does he do when Cory turned his head towards Madi?--of course he lets go :) He was under the water for at least 5 seconds (I think it might have been longer)...anyway he must have held his breath the whole time because he didn't spit out any water when he got pulled out. Of course he wanted to get right back in though :)
Madi Practicing her swimming arms.

Riley, Madi, Quinton, and Skylar--enjoying what's left of the fort they made at Toni's house. We had a fun night of games, family and of course food!

I came into Quinton's room after he woke up from his nap and this step stool (up side down) was on his bed--he told me it was his door to his tent (the blanket on his bunk bed hanging down--Cory made for him). He's got quite the imagination!

Madi and Marshall (a week over 5 months old)--time continues to fly. Marshall was about 16.5 pounds--such a big boy! Madi always wants to hold him but I'm afraid he's about to out grow her!
Cory and the kids did pumpkin carving and I took care of baking the pumpkins seeds--fun night as a family!

Madi dressed up for preschool and sang at a nursing home with her class on Halloween--so cute!
Skylar (Cheetah), Madi (good/silly witch), and Quinton (Cowboy)
Marshall with the classic Pea Pod outfit (Thanks Lisa--we are getting great use out of this costume!) Cory was worried he wouldn't fit (though he'd be to big)--but it fit great!
Quinton was about this way most of the night on Halloween--he didn't want to wear his shoes (boots).
The best picture I could get of the kids :)
Marshall is already army crawling--everywhere. He has been rolling over both ways since about 2 months old. He started army crawling just before 5 months. So sad--he's growing too fast! Madi and Quinton waited to crawl until 9 months. Christmas time will be interesting with him!

End of September--First of October

Quinton really loves to help with Marshall--so he brings him toys when he thinks Marshall is in need--Marshall doesn't seem to mind at all. So much fun!
From an angle above--to see all the toys Quinton shoved in Marshall's jumparoo.
Marshall likes to attempt to get 2 fists in his mouth a lot! I almost caught it.
Madi and Quinton freezing their buns off at Cory's football game (and it was only September 24th). Good thing I had lots of blankets for Marshall (to share of course)
 Handsome little guy--growing so fast!
Marshall is a little grouchy--pick me up he says!
The cutest frog you ever did see--love this chubbicans so much!
Seriously its the first of October and we are in the kitchen on the floor by the heater already--its going to be a long cold winter.
Grandma Tana got her reading in when she came to visit--thanks so much!! They could do that all day.
Grandma Tana trying to hang on as the kids pile on top of her.
 Big heavy boys!
Marshall (4 1/2 months) and Brody (7 1/2 months)
Madi loves her cousin Brody--he just giggled and giggled as she tickled him.

More of September 2013

Birthday Party (Steph, Ryan and I) at Gerties--so fun! The kids ate well and played on the toys for a nice enjoyable night.
 Brody and Marshall--future linebackers!
I put Marshall down in Quinton's room on a Sunday morning and Cory found Quinton like this with him. I tried to get it on video (Below) but missed most of it--the book has ABC's in it and Quinton was singing the leap frog version of the ABC's to Marshall--so awesome!

Went to check on Marshall (taking a nap) and I found him like this (his thigh was stuck in the crib bars)--he wasn't even whining or crying--glad I checked :)
The other morning I found Quinton had brought this little lullaby Elephant to Marshall to entertain him (wanting to be helpful).
Madi wanted in on the picture--needless to say we hadn't gotten around to getting dressed or ready for the day (I believe Marshall had a blow out--hence the naked baby look).
I had Marshall on this pillow and Quinton wanted to come and lay by him (so he brought his pillow and blanket)--it probably should be Marshall with the baby toy--but we don't complain if no one is whining :)
I've enjoyed this happy baby so much--must be a third child thing--you just relax a little more I guess.
Madi's very first soccer game--shin guards and all--she mostly stood the first game (in shock of all the people)...but hopefully she will do better as she does when she practices with her daddy. (Cory and I were both dying on the sidelines--as we are both very competitive. During the game Cory said it's 2 to 1--I said they keep score--he said I do!)
Quinton wanted to be in the picture.
I set Marshall on a blanket while we did family home evening tonight and Quinton came over next to him and was giving him loves!
Even though Quinton has the "touch of a grizzly bear" as Cory calls it--he is getting a little better with Marshall. He loves him so much!
Becoming such a big boy too fast!
Quinton and Marshall are going to be best buds!
During Family Home Evening we were talking about the importance of taking care of our bodies--exercising--so we did a few different kinds. Of course running was one--Cory was explaining arms to the kids--in the picture above Madi arms might be a little bit of an exaggeration of what Cory was looking for!
It was a very fun night as we shot hoops, played soccer, jumped rope, did jumping jacks and running.

After Family Home Evening the kids were practicing their jumping before they went to bed...let's just say Quinton is our graceful child :) (seriously he falls, trips and runs in to things all the time). Quinton was a little afraid to jump from that height--as he kept stepping off.

Beginning of September 2013

Marshall is just over 3 months old and is already in his jumparoo--such a big boy!
He enjoys it most when Madi and Quinton play with him.
Madi's first day of preschool this year--when I asked her about the first day she described it as "awesome!"
Grandpa Elmer and Grandma Kathy sent this bear for Madi--she is so nice to share it--It has become Marshall's new sleeping buddy--he just grabs it and is out!
Brody and Marshall--these boys are definitely going to be line backers (Cory thinks Brody may have to come play on our side of the bridge).
Fun night with Cory's family at Gerties--celebrating mine, Stephanie's and Ryan's birthdays (all within a month of each other).
Madi giving Marshall a workout in the jumparoo.
Taking it back a "few" years--Madi and Quinton lip singing to NSYNC  Bye, Bye, Bye
We had so much fun--they did not want to stop.

The rest of August 2013

At the fair the Madi and Quinton got up on this stage (it was empty with some music playing from the speakers) and started acting like they were singing (Madi was actually singing)--the microphones were off of course---but it was super cute.
The kids got to ride 3 rides each (tickets just aren't cheap ya know)--they had this swing one for little kids--of course we had to do it--Quinton loves the swings at the park.
 Marshall--just a few days over 3 months old--crazy!
Not sure who he looks like yet--himself I guess...He weighs 14.5 pounds and is 25 inches long (Quinton is 34 inches long and weighs 22 pounds--Marshall may outgrow him!)

Madi did take swimming lessons this summer and went off the diving board (with a lifejacket on) all by herself.  I don't have pictures of it because I accidentally deleted all the pictures on my camera when I was trying to delete a blurry picture I took (So mad at myself). Anyway I had a few of the ones above on our computer already--so that was lucky.

Trip to Montana (End of July/Beginning of August)--and Grace

Madi and Quinton kept playing with all of Great-Grandpa Orr's things around his house. I was afraid they were going to ruin something. So I got their books out that we brought...they took their books straight to Great-Grandpa and wanted him to read them. What a an awesome man!
Aspen and Madi cute as ever before we headed to church in Bozeman
Quinton needed to get in on the action.
Thanks for letting us come visit Lisa and Aspen. And thanks Grandma Montana for all your help!
Cory took Madi and Quinton on a float all by himself.
The kids just loved going floated--got their 1st 2 floats in this year and many more to come.
Thanks to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Elmer for helping us make such great memories
One of our many times traveling from place to place--the kids were exhausted!
We try to visit Cory's Grandpa Orr every year. I have a picture with him and the kids as we have added each one to our family--so this picture is tradition. (Grandpa is always in his rocking chair in the picture).
The boys on their blessing day--Wyatt, Will, and Marshall
We blessed this little hunk in Grace so that we could do it with Brooks and Andrea's twins (who were born 2 days after Marshall).
Quinton asleep on the ride home from Grace--with the string from a bag in his mouth--love this kid!
