1st Bath Pictures

I have been meaning to put these up on here, but I kept forgetting. Anyway this was hard for me because I hated it when she cried in the beginning (now I am more okay with it). But thank goodness Grandma Davis and Aunt Andrea were there to show me how. Now Madison actually seems to like her baths (and it’s so nice not to have to worry about her umbilical cord). Oh and I weighed her Sunday night and she now weighs a whopping 9 pounds! I call her the chunky dunk!

I know you wouldn’t believe it but Madison is just growing up so fast. While I was holding her last night she laughed in her sleep…it was so cute! Today Madison is one month old and it’s her aunt Toni’s birthday. Madison is slowly but surely starting to fit into more clothes…which is awesome. She took her first big trip at about 2 ½ weeks…as Grandma Davis and I took her to see Great Grandpa and Grandma Hammerquist in Boise. (And of course I forgot my camera!) She was very good and slept all the way there and all the way back. It’s amazing how my body has adjusted to the smaller amount of sleep I’m getting…I would never have thought it was possible! But even though I don’t get the sleep, its well worth it as you can see.

Here are some of Madison’s 1 week pictures that Lucinda Higley took for us as a gift. She did a great job! We also had a family picture taken too. Since Madison was on her own time schedule (which meant she was eating when the pictures were supposed to be taken)…her cousin Paisley stepped in for a second and posed for the camera.
Anyway just to update a little on our family, Cory is very busy coaching and teaching (so we love weekends when we get to see him-oh and he loves to see us too!). Madison and I have had the pleasure of having grandma Davis at home, which has now came to an end (we are very sad because she has to go back to work), helping us and letting me take a shower for the day!! Oh and I just added some extra pictures of Madison on here that I took so you can see the little chubby girl growing. And by the way…Andrea…this takes way too much effort…so don’t expect it too often, but I will try my best.
